Businesses often have a need for their field employees to complete certain steps during a service appointment. Now there is a way to do that in the FieldRoutes® Mobile app by utilizing Appointment Checklist, which will enable you to:
Associate the checklist to a service to ensure consistency in the service delivered
Use a survey or checklist to capture customer or field employee actions
Use the checklist for customer inquiries about the service they received
Appointment Checklist is now part of the FieldRoutes Mobile app, providing another way to improve efficiency and encourage consistency in service to helping you grow your business.
In last month’s Leaflet, we shared several new enhancements to the pre-payment capabilities in the FieldRoutes® Operations Suite, which include unique discounts by offer, flexible templates to customize your communications based on the service plan, and more.
If you’ve never used pre-payments before, you may be asking yourself, “Why should I care about pre-payments?” Here are a few examples where pre-payments can help your lawn business:
Cash flow in the winter helps fuel spring operations
By capturing customers’ complete financial commitment, you can reduce risk of losing customers to competitors
Encourage pre-payment with the new capabilities offered by FieldRoutes. You can learn more by accessing the Knowledge Base located at the bottom of your Operations Suite homepage or checking the Resources section of this newsletter for more information.
We're committed to you, our customers. As part of this commitment, we are also encouraging other software providers to follow our lead in supporting customers' rights to their data. If you've missed reading our Data Declaration, catch up here.
Know a colleague who feels trapped by their current provider? Send them our way and let’s see how we can help. If they decide to sign up, you’ll both earn rewards.

The Field Famous podcast shares real life stories of reaching for and achieving “field fame”. FieldRoutes recognizes that fame-worthy achievements look different for everyone. It might mean maximizing your profit margins, being known by name in a market, or scaling a business that can be passed down to the next generation, or even creating a business that allows you the flexibility to make it home in time for dinner.
Our host, Dr. Christopher Fasano, resident neuroscientist and the director of growth marketing for FieldRoutes, interviews field service business owners and team members, partners in the industry, and others. Each guest has a unique story and journey on their way to field fame.
In episode 6, Jonathan Kidwell, senior officer for partnerships and development of United to Beat Malaria, discussed the dangers posed by mosquitoes, the challenges of fundraising, and the crucial role partnerships play in the fight against this lethal and preventable vector-borne disease.
In episode 7, we featured Christopher Harkins of Pitbull Pest Control. He talked about setting the right expectations – and re-leveling them if necessary – learning from successes and missteps and providing employees with autonomy and accountability.
Episode 8 features Chelle Hartzer of 360 Pest Consulting who gave us an inside look at how pests think and act to infiltrate homes and food storage areas, and how to stay one step ahead of them.
Each success story is unique, and we’ll never get tired of hearing how pest and lawn heroes drive their businesses to success and reach their goals. Listen and subscribe to the podcast to hear more stories of field fame. New episodes drop every other Tuesday, so be sure to follow or subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts. If you’re interested in joining the podcast, we’d love to interview you for a future episode. Please email us at fieldfamous@fieldroutes.com and we’ll connect to schedule a time to talk.

“I had someone tell me that they’re glad they’re not alone. They now see that they are indeed not the only female pest control business owner. They now have connections that can help them in their journey too. This demonstrates the power of this event. It’s impactful and it meant a lot to me as a sponsor.”

“Spending time and hearing from our customers in person is invaluable. It was incredible to hear our customers championing our product to other attendees. It was really cool!”

“You can tell people need an opportunity to connect and find value in having so many industry colleagues together to share guidance and coaching.”
- Cristy Bordeaux, Senior Program Manager
“This is my third time attending this event, and it gets better and better every time. It’s wonderful to see it grow, and I am so pleased that FieldRoutes is committed to supporting the PWIPM. I can’t wait for next year!”
- Kristi Harrington, Senior Director of Marketing
