Trad’s Pest Control Makes The Switch To FieldRoutes Pay Off

It’s not just about getting paid for completed services.

It's about getting paid faster.

Features including AutoPay, Account Updater, and customizable automations offered in FieldRoutes® software are among numerous capabilities empowering Trad's Pest Control in Jacksonville, FL, in ways greater than the company’s previous provider could. Two key statistics stand out for Trad's since it made the switch to FieldRoutes in 2018:

97%: Accounts receivable collection of monthly payments due each month, critical for a business’ financial health, up from 80% with the previous provider.

"That's considerable, especially for a small business," says Denise Trad-Wartan, the chief executive officer.

75%: Percentage of Trad's customers using credit cards to provide automatic payments, up from 40%. That improves not only speed and volume of collections but can help in customer retention.

"Considerable change there," Trad-Wartan says of the difference FieldRoutes makes.

“AutoPay setup and setting up customers in general is much simpler, faster, and easier," she adds. "Our credit cards are automatically updated when there's an expiration. It's automated that (customers) get that messaging. They're keeping the credit cards updated."

Trad’s Pest Control’s previous provider offered few automations at the time, Trad-Wartan says. But the use of FieldRoutes’ Trigger Rules and digital communication with customers ultimately led to the Trad’s Pest Control office racing to go paperless within just three months in 2019 and to better alignment on its 29-person team.

“It easily allowed us to reduce the size of our CSS (customer service and sales) team by two people,” Trad-Wartan says. “To put those people into different roles that we needed filling.”

And that’s in addition to the improved cash flow for Trad’s Pest Control.

“We are apostles,” Trad-Wartan says. “We tell everybody, ‘Move to FieldRoutes. You'll be happy you did.’”
