FieldRoutes™ Payments

Important Information About Your 1099-K

Each year, FieldRoutes is required to send a 1099-K tax form to you, which reports merchant proceeds exceeding $600 that were processed during the calendar year. On or before January 31, you will receive a paper 1099-K form in the mail from our processor, Worldpay.

Please do not disregard this important letter. To prepare, log into the FieldRoutes Payments merchant portal as soon as possible and ensure your business information on file is correct.

Once you have logged in, follow these instructions:

  1. Click on Settings at the bottom of the left menu.
  2. Click Ownership Information under Business Settings.
  3. Click on Business.

Please review your legal business name, tax ID number, entity (for example, LLC), and address information. Please note: this information can be edited if necessary.

Product Update

New and Improved FieldRoutes Mobile App

We’re hard at work combining PestRoutes Sales and PestRoutes Tech into a brand new app we’re calling FieldRoutes Mobile. Once launched, the sales features will have a new and improved user interface. We anticipate that TechRoutes will be available until the fourth quarter of 2022, and SalesRoutes will be available until the first quarter of 2023.

If you’re currently using PestRoutes Sales and would like to get early access to the new FieldRoutes Mobile app to provide your feedback, we’d like to hear from you! To join our Beta program, please reach out to product_feedback@fieldroutes.com

Enhanced Customer Card Updates

In an effort to modernize and enhance the Customer Card user experience, we’ve updated the Account Summary and Account Statement Report tabs. Account Summary has been renamed to Payment History, and the Account Statement Report is now Account Balance Summary. Please note: only the names of the tabs have changed. The information from both these tabs has not been modified. Your customers will continue to receive their Payment History (Account Summary) and Account Balance (Account Statement) reports in the same format.

Improved Add-Ons Functionality

We’ve increased the number of Add-On line items from 40 per line to 999. This eliminates the need to create multiple instances of the same Add-On. This update enables you to enter up to 999 line items of a single Add-On, simplifying the process and cleaning up invoices.

Webinars

In case you missed it, on Wednesday, January 12, FieldRoutes partnered with Scott Young, president of Certified Lights, for the webinar $5.8M in the Twinkle of a Bulb. He added holiday light installations as a service to his pest control business to keep his employees busy during the slow fall and winter months, but it grew into millions of dollars in revenue. Click here to find out how he did it.

Join us for our next webinar on Tuesday, February 22. Wayne Volz of Profits Unlimited will discuss how to calculate your true lawn costs and incorporate that into your bids. More details to come!

Tradeshows

We hope to see you at the NPMA Eastern Conference on January 20-21 in Mashantucket, CT, at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino. Stop by Booth 11 and say hello! If you can’t make it, be sure to refer your friends for a demo.
